'Blue Tube' is the newest air frame to hit the industry.  It has the strength of a glass wrapped tube without the added weight and cost.  These can be finished relatively quick with primer and paint.  They offer more strength than 'flexible' Phenolic and will hold up to what ever you throw at it.  They have great abrasion resistance and awesome strength. Used by the military as a liner for ballisticly fired, aerial flares and artillery shells.  They have a burst strength in excess of 14,000 psi. and can be made to any air frame size you desire. 

   These will be sold exclusively through Always Ready Rocketry and made by Phenix Tube Corp.  Randy stocks some of every size.

   They made their first appearance in Tampa at the 21 March launch.  Stop by Always Ready Rocketry's booth to get a sample of this new airframe material at the 16 May launch.  Below are a few pics of the first "Blue Phenix" launched last month. 

The next launch we are going for mach 1.8 with a 100g launch and an apogee of 10,000 feet.
